Room 12 love having the COW (Computers On Wheels)

Kahurangi Dance Company - Te Reo Kori Workshop

On Wednesday 10th June, Room 12 and 18 were lucky enough to attend a Te Reo Kori workshop by the Kahurangi Dance Theatre Company. The children experienced some new Maori language and dances. It was great fun!

Iron Brian

On Thursday 4th June, Iron Brian and his team came to Tauranga Primary School. They taught us a lot about the food groups, iron and eating a balanced diet. We all laughed a lot during the show and really enjoyed our yummy burgers they made for us afterwards. Thank you Iron Brian!

Teeth Video

Room 12 thoroughly enjoyed learning all about their teeth in term 1. Here is a video which shows you some of the activities they completed, and also some of the knowledge they gained. It was a meaningful topic for these six year old children who are all losing their baby teeth.

Whole school Jump jam fun!

The children loved the whole school jump jam session on Friday. Luckily the weather was kind!

Well done Room 12 for winning Mr D this week!

Room 12 worked really hard on keeping their area of the school clean last week. As  a reward, we won the Mr D trophy. He has enjoyed his stay in our room this week, and is looking forward to walking around the school this week to see which class deserves it for next week.
